This is the add new post part of the Posts section. Existing posts can also be edited and deleted. Posts go into categories as seen above. This blog has 2 categories for posts. Events and Uncategorized. A new category can be created right here. |

The Mail Subscribers section is where you compose emails to be sent out either all members or those that subscribed to particular categories. |

Below the posting menu is the Media section. As you can see there is one image in the Media Library. |

When you click add new in the Media menu it brings you to this page where you can upload all types of files from you're computer. |

Next we have the Links section where you can add links to other sites. Like posts and pages Links also go in categories. There is only one link category shown here and it's the default blogroll. Blogroll cannot be deleted but like most of these features it will not show on the site if it's empty. |

When you add a link you can give it a name that will be the text displayed and you can also give it a description. Choose an existing category or create a new one and chose how you want the link to open when clicked. |

Here's the Pages section. Pages are more for permanent content like an about me page or a mission statement. |

While pages do not go in categories you can make sub pages of a parent page. Like posts you have an option of whether or not you want to allow comments by subscribers. |

This is where you can manage comments. There hasn't been any comments on this blog yet but by the time you need to manage comments you'll be at home in the control panel. |

This is where you can make changes to you're profile. Everyone has a page like this. |

Part of the profile section is where people can subscribe and unsubscribe to categories and choose what type of email they want to receive. Even if their not subscribed to any you can still email them. They just won't get any automated emails when a post is added. |

This is where you can add events to the calendar. They can be recurring by the day, week, year or one time events. They can link to a post or page or even another site. Oh and once again they can be in categories of their own. |
